Work in the InstaWP Studio Builder
The builder is where you shape your site in InstaWP Studio (Beta). It has two parts:
- The chat on the left, where you ask Studio for changes. See Edit your site in chat.
- The preview on the right, a real WordPress site that updates as Studio works. You can click links and browse it like a visitor.
The top bar
| Item | What it does |

| Sites | Goes back to the list of all your sites. |
| Site name and status | Shows the site you are editing and whether it is a Draft · not published or live. |
| Saved | Confirms your latest changes are saved. |
| Publish | Starts publishing your site. See Publish your site. |
| ... (More) | Opens Site details, Open preview in new tab, Share a link and Reset this site… |
| Credits / Sign in | Shows your Studio credits when you are signed in, or lets you sign in. See Sign in. |
The preview toolbar
| Item | What it does |
|---|---|
| Page switcher (for example Home) | Switch the preview to another page of your site. |
| Desktop and phone buttons | See the page at desktop width or at phone width (390 px). Check both before you publish. |
| Open in new tab | Opens the current page in a new browser tab. |
| Undo | Puts back your last change. Click again to step back further, one change at a time. |
| Click to edit | Point at a part of the page to change it. See Click to edit. |
Undo a change
Click Undo in the preview toolbar to reverse the last change Studio made. Each click steps back one change. Undo does not use any credits.
Saving
There is no save button. Studio saves your site automatically after every change and shows Saved in the top bar.
