Images in InstaWP Studio
You can give InstaWP Studio (Beta) your own photos and logo, or ask it to make images for you.
Use your own images
- In the chat, or in a Click to edit box, click the paperclip.
- Choose one or more images. Studio accepts PNG, JPEG and WebP files.
- Say where each image should go, for example "Use the photo I attached as the hero image" or "Put my logo in the header".
You can also attach images when you first describe your business on the New site screen, so Studio uses them while it builds your home page.
Ask for new images
If you do not have a photo for a section, ask Studio to make one, for example "Add a warm, bright photo of fresh bread to the hero". Images made during a request are part of that request, so they use credits along with it. See Studio credits.
Alt text
Studio adds alt text (a short description for screen readers and search engines) to images when you ask, for example "Add alt text to every image on the Home page".
Where your images are stored
Images are stored in your site's WordPress Media Library, and Studio serves them at the right size for each place they appear. To manage them yourself, open WordPress admin and go to Media. See Edit in WordPress.
