List of Helper Plugins and Usecases

This document lists all the plugins InstaWP has published on GitHub and/or WP.org, which is particularly useful for our enterprise customers.

InstaWP Connect

InstaWP Connect is a staging and site management plugin for WordPress. It lets you create a staging site from your live site in seconds without manual setup. You can choose quick, custom, or full staging, and the copy is built by InstaWP's AI migration engine. Once connected to your InstaWP account, the site appears in your dashboard ready for testing and development.

InstaMigrate

InstaMigrate is the lightweight helper plugin behind InstaWP's AI-powered migrations. It securely connects a WordPress site to the migration service so its files and database can be transferred. In most cases InstaWP installs it for you and removes it when the migration is done. Install it yourself only when your host blocks automatic plugin installs.

Use Case

• Migrate any WordPress site to InstaWP, or between hosts, with no SSH access
• Power automated demo-to-live migrations for hosting partners

IWP Demo Helper

IWP Demo Helper helps to start the semi-automated migration process. Once it’s set up on your master site, a Migrate button will appear on the demo sites. When your user clicks the Migrate button, it starts the migration process and sends a notification to your support team to continue from there.

Use Case

• Convert Sandbox to Regular Site,
• Send a Migration Request Email
• Ask for a Domain choice and redirect to the Host's checkout
• Simply redirect the user to a URL.

IWP Migration Helper

IWP Migration Helper is a companion plugin designed to be installed on your hosting server's newly created WordPress websites. In the WordPress website, if the user is using the same email used during demo creation or you provide us the demo URL via a config variable, the plugin automatically prompts the user to initiate a migration. The transfer runs on InstaWP's AI migration engine, using the lightweight InstaMigrate helper plugin.

• Detects a demo site by URL or Email match to help migrate the demo site to the Host's infrastructure

IWP WP Integration

IWP WP Integration is a WordPress plugin that connects your WooCommerce store with InstaWP’s site creation platform. It automatically creates staging and development sites when customers purchase your products, using InstaWP’s snapshot technology. This allows you to integrate InstaWP with WooCommerce and generate sites directly from your product snapshots.

Use Case

• Integrates InstaWP with a WordPress website
• Short code to create a site from snapshot.
• Complete WooCommerce for creation of new site or conversion of a demo site.
