Using Snapshots (Create Site)

Using a snapshot to create a site allows you to capture your adjustments so that they can be swiftly applied to other WordPress sites, including all the installed plugins or new themes you made while saving the snapshot. InstaWP provides you with the functionality of self-made snapshots for creating new sites in it that can ease your workload, increase flexibility, and provide consistency across the project you are working on.

In this documentation, we will explore the steps to use a snapshot for creating a site.

👉 Note: In your InstaWP account, Sites will count as a limit for all kinds of active sites, including snapshot sites. Also, if you create a site using snapshots, then it takes time to get warmed up, and only after that, your site goes live. The warming-up process generally takes a few hours, and it varies depending on the type of snapshot you are using.

You can create new sites by using snapshots through any of the following two methods:

Method 1-

Step 1: Go to the From Snapshot section for creating a site, where you will find a list of all snapshots created by you or your team. Select the snapshot you want to create your site with and click Next Step.

Step 2: Configure the values as per your preferences and click Next Step.

Step 3: Choose your plan and click on Create Site. Your site will be created within a moment.

Method 2-

Step 1: Go to the Snapshots page for creating a site, where you will find a list of all snapshots created by you or your team. Click on the Plus icon of the snapshot you want to create your site with.

Step 2: Give your site name, choose a Site Plan and click on Create Site button. Your site will be ready within a moment.
