Add Team Member

In InstaWP, team members are essential contributors who collaborate within your organization on this platform. They function collectively as a group to achieve various objectives such as streamlining your organization's operations and enhancing efficiency, InstaWP provides the feature of assigning specific roles and responsibilities to these team members.

Whatever a team member creates is billed to you, the team owner, not to them. Give each person the least-privileged role that still lets them do their job. For how team billing works, see Create & Update Team.

Add a New Team Member

Let's use the demonstration below to add a new team member.

Sign in to your InstaWP account and click on your team. Now, click on the settings icon to navigate to the team settings page.

Now, locate the add team member section. Enter member details and click Add.

Team member roles

Assign the role of the team member from the following:

Role	Description
Admin	Can invite team members, view & delete team sites, add & edit integrations.
Manager	Can view team sites, can only edit & delete own sites.
Member	Can create new sites, can only view & delete own sites.

Choose the least-privileged role that still lets the person do their job. Manager suits someone who needs visibility across the team's sites but should not change other people's work; Member suits a contributor who only works on sites they create.

Assign a member

Pending Invitations

An invited person does not join the team until they accept the invitation email. Until then they appear under Pending Team Invitations on the team settings page. Click Cancel to withdraw an invitation before it is accepted.

Manage a Team Member

InstaWP allows you to manage your team members, by changing their assigned roles, and deleting them. Let's use the demonstration below to change a assigned role of a team member.
