Sign In to InstaWP Studio
You can build in InstaWP Studio (Beta) without an account. Sign in with your InstaWP account when you want to:
- publish a site
- use Studio credits
- keep building after the free allowance for your browser is used up
Sign in
- Click Sign in in the top bar. It is on the Sites screen, the New site screen and in the builder.
- A popup opens the InstaWP sign-in page. If your browser blocks popups, the whole tab goes there instead.
- Sign in with your InstaWP account, or create one. You can sign up with Google.
- Approve InstaWP Studio when asked.
- You return to Studio, signed in. The account menu shows Signed in to InstaWP.
The account is your InstaWP account, the same one you use for the InstaWP dashboard. To learn more about creating an account, see Create an account.
Signing in from Publish
When you publish a site for the first time, the first step offers the same two ways in: I have an InstaWP account with a Sign in button, and New to InstaWP? with a Create a free account button.
What happens to sites you built before signing in
Your sites stay where they are.
- The first browser you sign in with brings its sites into your account.
- If you sign in on a second browser, its sites join your account too, so your Sites list is the same everywhere.
- A site you have not published yet still lives in the browser that built it. In other browsers it shows as On another device.
- A browser that is already signed in to a different InstaWP account keeps its sites with that account.
Sign out
Open the account menu and click Sign out. The browser gets a fresh, empty Sites list.
Your account, its sites and your other signed-in browsers are not affected. Sign in again to bring your sites back.
If your sign-in expires
Studio shows: Your InstaWP sign-in has expired. Sign in again to keep building. Click Sign in and continue where you left off.
