InstaWP allows the addition of a ServerAvatar hosting integration, which is an automated cloud management system that allows you to manage WordPress sites on the ServerAvatar server that you created or migrated from your InstaWP platform.
In this documentation, we will explore the steps to:
Add ServerAvatar Integration
Create a New Site
Manage ServerAvatar Hosted Site
Migrate Staging Site
Create a New WaaS
Let’s get started 🚀
Go to the Hosting page, and click on the Connect Hosting button to add the ServerAvatar Integration.
Note: If you don’t have an Api Key for ServerAvatar integration, visit here for more information.
After entering the values in the connection form, click the Connect button.
Now that the ServerAvatar is connected to your InstaWP account, it allows you to create a new site on the ServerAvatar server. For that, you can follow the below steps:
Once connected, manage your newly created ServerAvatar hosted site by configuring the options from the following settings:
Connect Settings
Hosting Settings
You can choose the Purge cache option to free up server resources, making your connected site function faster and more efficiently, particularly in terms of a site's Time to First Byte (TTFB), by serving pages and static cache directly from the closest server available to visitors.
You can view and configure the following options that are available on the hosting settings:
Dashboard
Map Domain
Delete
You can view your ServerAvatar - hosted website’s PHP version and space used.
You can view your primary mapped domain and map your ServerAvatar hosted site with a new domain name by linking it to a web-hosting server, such as Cloudflare or Namecheap. For more information, refer to Map domain document.
You can also delete your ServerAvatar hosted site when not in use anymore.
You can refresh your ServerAvatar's server, allowing you to restart or reload the server to apply changes, clear temporary files, update configurations, or resolve issues, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently.
InstaWP allows you to migrate your site to the ServerAvatar server. It involves copying all files and databases related to the website and then updating settings for the staging site to work on its new server. For that, you can follow the below steps:
InstaWP also allows you to host your WaaS sites on the ServerAvatar server.
The user needs to create a shared template and monetize it. Then, this shared template will be used as WaaS (Website as a Service).
Afterwards, you can follow the below steps:
Go to the WaaS setting dialog, where you can enter the WaaS name and select your monetized template (single or multiple) that will be displayed publicly.
