Overview:

A template is a structure that defines a particular page on your WordPress website. It displays the content for your page and describes what design elements surround that content (i.e. header, sidebar, footer etc). InstaWP lets you create shared templates and edit a dedicated landing page for your shared template, enabling other users to create new sites from it.

In this documentation, we will provide you with an overview of the following:

Create Shared Template
Edit Shared Template
Monetize Shared Template

Let’s get started 🚀

Create Shared Template

InstaWP allows you to create and develop templates that can also be shared publicly on the internet with anyone, allowing other users to build their WordPress site using your template.

For more information, you can refer to the Create Shared Template document.

Edit Shared Template

Once a shared template is created in InstaWP, you can customize the look, feel, and behavior of your template landing page by the following:

Edit: Setup
Edit: Branding
Edit: Advance Options

This entire page displays your shared template details (logo, appearance, sending credentials to email or not, privacy policy, etc.) that can be customised.
For more information, you can refer to the Shared Template: Setup, Branding & Advance Options document respectively.

Monetize Shared Template

Once a shared template is created in InstaWP, you can put a paywall in front of your shared template and start making money with it.

For more information, you can refer to the Monetize Shared Template document.
