How to Access and Analyze Activity Logs for Connected Sites

The activity logs screen provides a detailed view of user actions and changes made to your connected site. It tracks events such as login activities, content edits, plugin installations, and more, giving you comprehensive insights for monitoring and troubleshooting. By following the steps outlined, you will enable activity tracking and review logged activities effectively.

Step 1



Navigate to your connects on the InstaWP dashboard.



Step 2



Next, access the activity log by selecting "View Log."



Step 3



Proceed by performing a login to your site using the magic login feature to enable the activity log from your WordPress Dashboard.



Step 4



Navigate to "Tools" and select "InstaWP."



Step 5



Ensure that you enable the Activity Log option from here.



Step 6



Now, perform some activities to verify recording. For example delete a post.



Step 7



Perform an additional activity. For example add a new post and publish it.



Step 8



Return to the activity log, and refresh it to view the recorded activities.

If no events are recorded after performing activities, double-check that the Activity Log feature is enabled and that your site is connected properly to InstaWP.


The activity log provides comprehensive tracking of various actions on your site, enabling you to monitor and manage changes effectively. You can track content-related activities, Media Management, Menu and Widget Updates, User Activities, Theme and Plugin Management and Taxonomy Changes.
