How To Mark Site as Temporary or Permanent

InstaWP offers an easy way to manage your site lifecycle by marking it as either Temporary or Permanent. This helps you decide how long your site remains active- temporary sites are automatically deleted after a specific period, while permanent sites remain until you manually delete them.

This feature ensures that your workspace stays organized, avoids unused resource buildup, and keeps you in control of your development environment.

Understanding Site Types based on Expiry

There are two types of sites you can create on InstaWP:

1. Temporary Site: A temporary site is ideal for quick testing, debugging, or one-time client demos. These sites have a limited lifetime and will be automatically deleted once they expire.

2. Permanent Site: A permanent site remains in your account until you manually delete it. These are suitable for ongoing projects or staging environments that need to be retained over time.

You can easily switch between temporary and permanent status at any time from your Sites Dashboard.
