Downgrade Site Plans

InstaWP gives you the flexibility to downgrade your site plan if your resource needs change. You can switch to a lower plan anytime directly from the dashboard, based on your current usage.

This is ideal for projects that no longer need advanced features or higher limits.

Downgrading helps you reduce costs while keeping your site active and accessible. Each site runs independently. So, you can downgrade plans for one without affecting others.

Downgrade Site Plans

Step 1: Sign in to your dashboard and click on the change plan icon of your site from the Sites page.

If you want to check your site's current plan, you can do it by opening your site settings page.

Step 2: A pop-up window will appear with the list of plans. Go through the details and choose a plan for your site according to your preference. Select a plan and click the Change Plan button.

👉 Note: If a feature is not available in the lower plan, you won’t be able to downgrade. For example, the Shield feature isn’t available on the Sandbox plan. To downgrade, make sure your current plan doesn’t have Shield enabled.

Once done, it'll show the plan is downgraded from the previous.
