Add Whitelabel / Suffix Domain

InstaWP allows you to enable the whitelabel feature to add a Suffix Domain to your WordPress site to specify the sort of website represented by the domain name. For example, every commercial enterprise or corporation with a website will have a domain suffix of “.com”, indicating that it is a commercial entity.

Adding a separate suffix domain to your web address gives you more options when choosing a URL (<https://www.companyname.com>) for your website. Some prominent domain suffixes include ".edu," ".net," ".gov," and ".org," among others.

In this documentation, we will explore the steps to add a suffix domain to your site.

Let’s get started 🚀

Note: This feature is only available as an add-on not included in the pricing subscription plan. For more, refer to this doc

Note: You can enter “subdomain.yourdomain.com” or “yourdomain.com” of your website, it is upto you. For example, Google uses a subdomain for Gmail ”mail.google.com”. Just make sure you have permission to create NS records for the subdomain or the main domain. If you use the main domain, you won't be able to use it for any other purpose.

Go to the domain register panel (such as Namecheap or Cloudflare), and create these NS records.

Come back to the InstaWP team settings page and Verify record.

Note: If you don't see the "Verified" badge, wait for 2-3 mins and hit on "Verify" again.

Existing Sites & Templates

Once the suffix domain is added, InstaWP allows you to integrate it into your existing staging site and templates.
