Connect Hosting
A web hosting service is a sort of Internet hosting service that hosts websites for clients. It provides the tools needed to construct and manage a website and makes it available on the World Wide Web. InstaWP allows you to connect to various hosting providers such as RunCloud, ServerAvatar, etc.
In this documentation, we will explore the steps to connect to a new hosting provider.
Let’s get started 🚀
Step 1: To access the dashboard, sign in to your InstaWP account.
Step 2: Click on the Hosting button from the top navigation bar.
You will be taken to the hosting page.
Step 3: Click on Connect Hosting button from the top right corner of the interface.
A new modal window will appear, providing a list of available hosting providers such as InstaWP live, Runcloud & Server Avatar (Hosting partnership).
Step 4: Select a hosting provider according to your preference. For example, here selected InstaWP Live as a hosting provider and connecting to other hosting partners, refer to the respective Runcloud & Server Avatar documents.
A new dialog will appear, asking you to fill out the connection form by entering a new Alias name as your DNS hostname.
Step 5: After that, click on the Connect button.
Then, you will see a success message on your screen.
Note: Certain hosting providers need servers to connect, while others will be instantly connected.
💡 Did you know - You can create a new site with a custom domain name on your connected hosting account. For more information, please refer to the Manage Hosting document.
