Add Tags

In WordPress, a tag is a keyword or phrase that specifies the features of a site's post or page, much like a keyword. InstaWP offers a Tag option for your staging sites, which you can use to group your sites, based on similar details.

How to Add a Tag



Go to the Sites page and locate the tag option corresponding to the site you want to add.





Select a Tag



Here, you can add your desired tags to your staging sites, allowing you to quickly and easily identify your preferred subjects linked to the site.





Manage Tags



You can manage your tags by editing, removing, or even adding new tags for sites to assist in distinguishing between comparable sites on the same subject.

To edit an existing tag follow the below steps:


Step 1: Click on the wheel icon. It'll take you to the Team Settings page. You can manage all the site tags from the Tags Manager option from here.





Step 2: From here, edit the tag name by clicking the edit icon, choose tag color from color palette option, and click the tick icon after your editing is done.




Step 3: Now click Save.




Remove Tag



To remove an existing tag follow the steps:


Step 1: Click on the cross icon of the tag you want to remove.




Step 2: A confirmation window will appear. Click the Remove button from the window.





Step 3: Now click Save from Tags Manager section.




Add New Tag



To add a new tag follow the steps:


Step 1: Click on the plus icon from Tag Manager section.




Step 2: Once added, give a name by clicking on the edit icon. You can change the tag color from the color palette. Click the tick icon once the editing is done.




Step 3: Now click Save from Tags Manager section to save it for the team.
