Types of Templates
Once you've created a template, InstaWP enables you to monetize it by making it publicly available on the internet or publishing it to the InstaWP store. With a single click, you can reach over 15k agencies, allowing other users to build their WordPress sites using your template and start earning money.
In this documentation, we will give you an overview of the different types of monetized templates.

You can utilize the following types of templates, allowing other users to build their sites using your template.
Free Templates
Paid Templates
A free template can only be shared with anyone via a shareable link. Other InstaWP users can use this link to create new sites in their accounts, making it perfect for selling websites.
For more information on how to share template URL or preview landing page, refer to this document.
To share this free template, click on your template and locate the Share button. Clicking the Share button will show a popup with a link and copy icon. Copy the link by clicking the copy icon.
The link can be shared with anyone to create new site.
👉 Note: The user needs to access the beta program and sign up as a seller before monetizing their template. For more information on how to monetize template, refer to this document.
A paid template allows you to sell your template and start making money from it. Sell pre-made websites as templates by monetizing them through the following options according to your preferences.
Go to the templates options and click Pricing. Set the option as Paid. Now, set your price and click Update.
Once the template is paid, you can publish it to the InstaWP store to make money, reaching out to more than 15k agencies. For more information on how to publish templates on the store, refer to this document.
👉 Note: The user needs to mark their parent site as reserved for it to stay published on the InstaWP store. For more information on how to reserve a site, refer to this document.
InstaWP allows you to share your templates to InstaWP store and you can earn with your template.
Step 1: Go to template options and click Store. Now, select the button I Agree and Wish to Proceed.
Step 2: Now, fill out the template description, tags, categories and click Submit. Once the template is approved, you can view your template in the InstaWP Store.

Store
