Snapshot Edit: Setup

Once a shared snapshot is created in InstaWP, you can customize the look, feel, and behavior of your snapshot landing page. As a result, this type of snapshot can be shared with anyone on the internet, and anyone can create a new site based on your snapshot.

Navigation to Snapshot Options



Go to the Snapshots page and click on the Edit icon to set up the snapshot you want.





It'll take you to the snapshot dashboard, where you'll get options to set up your snapshot. Click Save after completing the setup.





On the Snapshot Setup dialog, you can edit your shared snapshot in the general following fields:

FieldsDescription
Snapshot NameName of the snapshot.
DescriptionDescription of the snapshot.
Instant SnapshotWhen you create a new site from the snapshot, it takes about 5-7 secs of time, selecting this option will instantly create a new site. Only available for premium accounts.
Post-Creation CommandsThis allows you to enter the post commands that you can use to manage your WordPress website post without needing to log in to the WP admin panel. For example, "wp post create" that creates a new post.



Shared Snapshot Setup



InstaWP allows you to set up your shared snapshot by personalizing the general options available on the Snapshot Options Page.

Step 1: Locate the Share button and click on it. Now, click on the Copy Link icon. You can use this link to share the snapshot with your users.






Step 2: Paste the link on a new tab. This link is accessible to everyone you share.







Preview



You can use this option to preview your Snapshot Landing Page, which is visible to people who have your shared snapshot link.

Locate the Preview button and click on it.





This will show your shared snapshot page.
