Site Creds

InstaWP lets you view, copy, and update the WordPress admin credentials for any of your sites. This is useful when you need to share access with a team member, revoke access, or simply log in quickly without remembering your password.

In this documentation, we will explore the steps on how to view staging site credentials.

Let’s get started 🚀

How to View Site Creds

  1. Go to the Sites page in your InstaWP dashboard.
  2. Click the ⋯ (three-dot menu) on the site you want to access.
  3. Select Login Details from the dropdown.

A pop-up will appear showing your site's WP Admin credentials.

From here you can:

  • Copy the username, password, or login URL individually using the one-click Copy buttons.
  • Magic Login: click this button to go directly into your WP Admin panel without entering any credentials manually. This works the same way for both staging sites and InstaWP Live sites.

The credentials can be updated with the WP login credentials here; however, the credentials must be valid, and the user account must already exist on the site.

Using the demonstration below, let's try to change the site's admin panel credentials for auto-login.
