Map a custom domain to a WaaS Site

In this documentation, we will discuss how an agency owner can map a WaaS site to a custom domain provided by their customers, as well as how customers can map their custom domain to their site themselves.


Let’s get started.



For Agency Owners


Step 1: Navigate to the site management page of the WaaS from which the site is created.



Step 2: Click on the Manage Site button located on the right side of the WaaS site listing.



Step 3: Click on the Map Domain Button from the Site Details Page



Step 4: Add the custom domain you want to map and also update the DNS record with the given CNAME record on your DNS Manager and Click on Map Domain Button.



Once everything is done, the custom domain will be mapped to the site hosted on WaaS.



For End Users/ Customers


Step 1: Users/Customers can navigate to the WaaS Site Management Page with either of the below options:


Option 1: Search for the Confirmation Email sent to your inbox which includes the Track URL button to navigate to the Site Management Page


Option 2: If you have recently created WaaS site and you are on below mentioned page you can click on Manage Site Button to go to the Site Management Page.



Step 2: Once you are on the site Management page as mentioned below, click on the Map Domain Button



Step 3: Add the custom domain you want to map and also update the DNS record with the given CNAME record on your DNS Manager and Click on Map Domain Button.



Once everything is done, the custom domain will be mapped to the site hosted on WaaS.
