InstaWP User-Agent and Servers

Introduction

InstaWP Bot powers various automation features within the InstaWP ecosystem, including Site Management, Staging, and Migrations. To ensure our bot is properly recognized and trusted, we follow industry standards, including Cloudflare's verified bot framework.

User-Agent Identification

Our bot is identified using a distinct User-Agent string:

InstaWP/1.0 (+https://instawp.com; support@instawp.com) Action/Sub-Action

This allows websites and security systems to accurately classify and authenticate InstaWP Bot's traffic.

Reverse DNS (rDNS) Implementation

To comply with Cloudflare's bot verification requirements, we configure reverse DNS (rDNS) records for all servers interacting with our bot systems. Our servers follow a structured naming convention using the domain prefix:

*.iwpservers.com

This ensures consistency in identification and improves trust across networks.

Cloudflare Bot Verification

We integrate with Cloudflare Radar’s verified bot system to maintain seamless access and avoid unnecessary security blocks. For more details, visit Cloudflare Radar.
