Restore your site from InstaWP staging

You can restore a fresh site if you are a Connect user of instaWP. Connect users have the two-way sync solution. If you sync regularly and your staging site is up to date, then you can easily make your staging site your main site, replacing the compromised one.

Let’s explore how Connects Sites go live from staging. 🚀

Step 1

Go to Staging and find the staging site for your main site. Click on the airplane icon from the buttons. A message will pop up as the site is still connected to the main site.

Step 2

Click Disconnect on the pop-up. A confirmation pop-up will appear to ensure the disconnect. Now, click on Go Live again, like the 1st step.

Step 3

Select InstaWP Live and click Next Step. Now, confirm the pricing > Next Step. Set the domain name and other information and go to the Next Step. Your migration will be initiated soon.



Once completed, your site will go live and be restored.




💡 Now, map the domain, replacing the old one to make this the main site. Better to create a new staging site for the main backup.
