Let’s get started πŸš€

Navigation to Sync Option

πŸ‘‰ Note: We are presuming that the user has created a staging site from their live site using the InstaWP connect plugin. If not, refer to this Create Staging document.

Step 1: Sign in to your InstaWP account and click the magic login button of your site to access the admin panel.

Step 2: Select Tools > InstaWP and go to Staging Sites. Click the magic login button of the staging site to enter its admin panel.

Step 3: Select Tools > InstaWP from the staging site's admin panel. Select the Sync (Beta) option and switch on the toggle to record the changes.

Record Changes

InstaWP allows you to record changes on your staging site from its WP Admin panel. The Sync-Supported changes can be Posts, Media, Users, Tags, etc.

For example, we have edited a post and added a new page. Now, click the blinking icon of InstaWP to open the recorded changes.

Here, you'll find the list of recorded events on your staging sites.

Sync Changes

Once the changes are recorded on the staging site, you can merge those changes into your live site without overwriting them.

Click Sync All button or mark the changes and Sync Selected button.

A new modal window will appear. Click Sync from the window. This will complete the sync changes to the live site. You may now see the changes replicated on the live site.
