How to Set Expiry Time for Demo Sites Using InstaWP Templates
Expiry time (default value: 4 hours) is the duration after which a demo environment will reset for users trying your product. Once the expiry time is reached, the staging site is automatically cleaned up and prepared for the next user. This ensures a fresh and consistent experience for every user while optimizing resource usage.
In this document, you will learn how to set an expiry time for your demo site using a template on the instaWP platform. Follow the steps carefully to configure the expiration settings efficiently.
Navigate to the InstaWP Dashboard and open the " Templates" section.
Ensure the template you want to use is created and marked as Shared. Click Edit for the desired template.
Navigate to the " Advanced Options" section within the template settings.
In the "Advanced Options," locate and adjust the setting that allows you to define the lifetime of your site.
The default site lifetime is set to 4 hours, but you can extend this period to a maximum of 30 days.
After selecting your preferred duration, for example, 10 days, Ensure to click " Save" to apply the changes.
