Blocked by firewall or antivirus

Sometimes your firewall, VPN, ISP or Antivirus may block staging sites with domain *.instawp.xyz. This happens when our service is abused by phishing farms around the world and firewalls start to block us aggressively, while it is rare, but it becomes undesirable when you are working on a project.

To get around this issue, there are few options you have:

Change suffix domain

You may try to change the suffix domain to instawp.link or instawp.co. You can access this via Staging > Choose a site > .. menu > Suffix domain



Then choose any suffix domain:



Please note that after changing the suffix domain, wait for around 2-3 mins for it to propagate via DNS.

Map a custom domain

You can map a custom domain to your staging site to avoid domain related issues. To map a custom domain, click on a staging site and view details.

Whitelabel domain

You can buy the whitelabel addon which will allow you to create sites with your custom suffix domains. More here.
