Test emails from InstaWP staging environment in 1-click

InstaWP servers don't have email sending options enabled for two reasons 1) these are meant for staging use 2) to reduce abuse.

But you can still test outgoing emails using Mailtrap integration. To activate the integration follow these steps:

  1. Create a free Mailtrap account.
  2. Copy following attributes from your account to InstaWP Integrations Page.
  3. Account ID - https://mailtrap.io/account-management
  1. API Key - https://mailtrap.io/api-tokens

  1. SMTP Details

  1. Copy all these details into the Integration panel at InstaWP (Add New)

  1. Go to Sites and open ... menu for any site and select Integrate Mailtrap.

Now any emails sent by that WordPress instance will be show in your mailtrap account.
